South Africa beat Pakistan by 14 runs
South Africa beats Pakistan by 14 runs in the fifth ODI at Lahore and have clinched the 5-match ODI series 3-2.
Pakistan got off to an ordinary start as Ntini got rid of both the openers with the total of 43 runs on the board. Younus Khan and Mohammad Yousuf then resurrected the Pakistan innings as they shared a 106 runs stand for the thrid wicket.
Younus Khan played a fine knock of 58 runs while Yousuf scored a gritty knock of 53. The re-introduction of Ntini and Morkel into the attack

turned the tide of the match into Proteas' favour.
Both the bowlers got rid of last 6 Pakistani batsmen for just 20 runs. Albie Morkel finished with figures of 4/44 while Ntini also scalped four wickets. Makhaya Ntini pocketed the Man of the Match award for his superb bowling spell. Mohammad Yousuf won the Man of the Series award for his brilliant batting display in this series.
